The mission of the Sayreville War Memorial High School Library/Media Center is to provide adequate service, through personalized interaction and collaboration, to help meet the needs of the students, faculty, and staff. The center will serve as a place where all patrons feel supported and comfortable, and are treated with respect. The school library program will provide students with the skills and resources they need to be effective and discriminating 21st century learners. The program will also encourage responsible student usage and application of various forms of technology, support and enhance school-wide curricula, provide opportunities for service and connection to the community, promote lifelong learning, and instill a love of reading.
